I think this demonstrates our limitations as a club and why the stadium issue is such a drag.

We are probably one or two player off the perfect squad but it's two too many. I suspect to even. E where we are now certain people will have had to empty there pockets of loose change.

That squad is a frickin miracle. Whether it will work who knows but I defy any club to do better on a similar budget.

The real hope this season is that should we get a real bad injury crisis those new youngsters might just be good enough to plug the odd gap. It's been many decades since we could say that.

It's a good team on paper and if we start with what we have I'm happy.

Ction dilemma is Johnstone. Clearly top quality but his replacement last year did an outstanding job.
It'll be interesting to see how that works out.

Would maybe pretty much keep most of it as it was, probably bringing TJ back in place of MCG and Rendell starting, moving Wood to bench, with Horo taking up the last interchange place.

Not sure about Pauli yet as we don't know what his match fitness us like just yet.

One thing I would be tempted to do following their involvement in the World Cup would be to rest Finn and Grix on Boxing Day. Could get an early chance to see what Ackroyd is like.

I know that "the 1st name on the team sheet" is a bit of a cliché but who would it be?

As good as his cover was last season, it still would be Tom Johnstone for me.
