Leeds may have thought the same last night.

| What is the concenus as to how many points Wakefield will require to make the play offs?
Would it be 34+, or could it be scraped with less points?

Of course I forgot that beating Leeds helped them. Doh.

| Cas are certain for the hub cap and Powell has the chance to ensure that his best 17 are available for the semi finals.
Having said that the balance between keeping up momentum and having his first choice squad ready to go for their biggest games of the season is a delicate balance.
Personally, I still think they will get beaten in the GF (assuming that they get there) and they will want to avoid playing Hull in the semi's as they seem to have the measure of Cas this season.
It should be interesting.
For Trinity, it's a whole different ball game and its about trying to get some momentum and get a few victories in the Super 8's.
We currently have a top 4 spot and if we can hang on to that, then, who knows.
The cliche, one game at a time has to be our mantra and then see where we go from there.
If we defend like yesterday, we will give ourselves a chance in every game but, the intensity is sure to increase now and that is a huge test for us but, while we still have a chance to make the semis we just have to go for it.
Come on Trin !

| I reckon you are now have a better points difference to Leeds following that fantastic victory. You are 4 points behind them and their next 3 games are Saints, Hull, and Cas. Don't think they'll pick up many points there the way they are playing.

| If you're wanting to sit down next week I'd suggest picking up a ticket asap as they're selling pretty fast. Even if you're standing I'd purchase one too as I'd be surprised if it's not a sell out.

| No doubt there will be plenty of banter flying around until Thursday but I'm sure we can all agree its a lot nicer player for titles and top 4 than scratching around near the bottom.looking like it's gonna be a big crowd and fingers crossed you don't spoil our party although it wouldn't surprise me.

| Obviously wins are going to get us in the top 4 but beating Saints and Salford should see us there, that's who we are competing against.

Totally agree
As a Trin fan i want to win every match but i won't be too disappointed on Thurs if we do lose, Cas have deserved to be top of the pile and if we can't win it then im glad Cas can.
Up The Trin

| Lol. I agree with both of you.
I'm pleased for Cas. Glad they've shown the big boys that the unfashionable clubs are worth a go too.
But I hope we put 40 points on you too
