For us to finish in the top 8 would be a fantastic achievement for the board, the coaches and players. Its looking very good for a top 8 finish. Every professional pundit tipped us for the bottom 4 , most fans from all clubs including Trinity fans tipped us for bottom 4, I tipped us for bottom 2. Looking at my pre season tips Wakey and Warringtom are the teams that I got very wrong and Leigh have not done as well as I thought. If coach of the season was chosen now Chester should win it, Powell would get many votes but Cas at the top is not a surprise.
I think that the players mindset may be different this season, last year it was a massive relief to make the 8 and we just switched off plus injuries played a part. This season once and if the top 8 finish is certain then I think the players will want to kick on and get better. I also think that with the strength in depth we can handle a cup run and injuries better.
I also think that we can get better this season so any result is possible. Great times

I'd go with that. We'll win games we can only dream of winning and blow the 'easier' games. This is Wakefield after all!

That is usually the case but you could argue the only game we have 'blown' this season was Hudds away, and even then it hasn't been a happy hunting ground over the last 10 years has it?

I was meaning with regards to game's we genuinely expect to win. Warrington away isn't a game we would
usually expect to win.

We blew it in the sense of threw it away but not in the sense of lost when we expected to win.

Whenever we've had a half decent team it has actually been very usual - winning at KC has been fairly regular for us, no idea why but it has.

In the last 10 visits to Hull FC we have Won 5 and lost 5.

2007 W 19-6
2009 W 21-14
2011 W 20-6
2013 W 27-26
2014 W 23-16

We also lost by just 4 points in both 2010 and 2012.

All in all it's been a decent hunting ground for us the last 10 years.

The 20 all draw was at your ground, you won that year at the KC so your record isn't bad, although still not won there last two seasons, weirdly I reckon our record at your ground is excellent
