we must have chucked at least 3+ games away this season, I don't see 9th like I don't see a glass half empty, I see as near to 6th as makes no difference.

you gotta expect a few myopic cas dime bars coming here to bitch about 1 point, because its all they have, they're not going to win anything and they've not made any improvement over last season, their only comfort is finishing 1 poxy point above wakey......which, quite frankly is laughable when you consider how disappointing their own season has been.

Still an outstanding effort by us, after what happened the season before.

The same could be said of a few games what we have thrown away this year but for every close one you lose against the grain you win a close one against the grain.

I would of been bitterly disappointed finishing the regular season in 6th with Powell picking from a full squad and rotating players regularly, but unfortunately it hasn't panned out that way with him playing lads out of position week after week many of them dead on their feet from not being rested with many fringe lads having lots of game time this year.
I no every team have injuries but this year has been truly horrendous, so as for your statement of cas fans not been happy because of no improvement over last year, is frankly quite laughable.

Good luck next week by the way..It would be good to see wakey at Wembley on TV in colour instead of all those black and white clips!

I wish we had progressed as much as Wakefield this year.
I said from the beginning of the season that our recruitment wasn't good enough. Teams below us in 2015 (Hull FC, Catalans, Warrington) signed players to improve their first choice 17. We signed a past-it Joel Monaghan, NRL failure Ben Crooks and a winger from Featherstone who nobody had heard of.
Even though we have had many injuries (Shenton out for the year, Roberts has played about 5 games, Dorn has missed 10+) I don't think we would have challenged the top four.
Unfortunately our recruitment for next year isn't looking any better (Greg Eden!)
However, there is a long way to go before the start of 2016.

If you read the full report of the appeal panel which is on the RL site you will see that Koukash pays players for doing imaginary extra duties such as 'leadership training ' from an overseas company he controls. No doubt he is still at this as there is no way the RL can monitor it if the player keeps quiet. He got found out this time because the player concerned left the club and still asked for the money. Koukash refused so the player spilled the beans.

How would you know colour was the norm, you didn't even have black and white television in Cas then, even now most of your fans watch the game through Curry's shop window.

By the way, we are under no illusions about what the probable outcome at LSV is going to be next week. The absolute minimum is that we'll just enjoy the build up and game on the day and be thankful for the National Media exposure and extra cash generated. Anything above that is a bonus.

Believe it or not there are one or two cas fans who genuinely would like to see wakey do it!
