Isn't Charlie entitled to an opinion?

Personally I'm glad the embers are still smoking on the development and that there are people trying to find a way to make it work. I've said numerous times " respect to those involved" but Charlie's not in his own in thinking this is isn't going to happen and maybe in the dark corridors of the Town Hall they knew it never was!

It's not uncommon for developers to build sporting/community facilities as a sweetener for planning permission approval so the idea in principle is not fanciful (Cas are going down the same road). Unfortunately we aligned ourselves with the wrong developer.

Nothing wrong with an opinion, but it's pointless when everybody else already knows where we are.
Some are working very hard to put us back in a good position, some are waiting to see what happens, some are posting that it'll never happen.

Personally I'm in the middle group for what it's worth.

Don't know if the White flag has been raised but I can quite easily see why, but looking forward, this could be the time for someone new with fresh ideas to come forward, grasp the bull by the horns and help their club out.

This is a forum Pop Tart, a message board where people express their opinions and chew the fat. If we're going to discourage people expressing an opinion you might as well close the forum.

Where has TRB been ridiculed or for that matter criticised?

I've seen lots of appreciation and praise for SWAG and ST members who've battled long and hard to get or keep the stadium issue onto the agendas of the powers that be.

Offering an opinion, even a negative view of the ultimate stadium outcome is one persons stance, it's their comment on the situation as it stands and shouldn't be seen as a criticism of those still being positive.

Ah right so its the fans fault this has gone tits up, glad you cleared that up. Big respect to TRB and all that have tried their nuts off for years but once we encounted the dodgy section 106 the battle was probably as good as done. They legally have us on a string. Try targeting your frustration at the people who perpertrated the cover up. Nobody is criticising the members of Swag and never should they. In fact they should all be made life members of the club. But people are annoyed at the situation. Hoodwinked is a good way of putting it without resorting to swearing. It might take a fresh batch of people or ideas to come forward but unless they come forward holding £10-15 million then the likelihood is it ain't going to make a blind bit of difference.

But at the same time as being negative to the outcome, negating what people have done/are doing hardly helps the cause.
Without trawling through hundreds of posts I view the majority as being negative to people involved, with the rider of "but you've done a great job mind you".
