| Quote Jack the Beagle="Jack the Beagle"I was over from France for this one.
Cannot believe peoples' priorities are to moan, moan ,moan.
Not just on this thread ,but others.
We won!
It was a great game!
Two more points towards safety!
Looking upwards!
My wife gave my son one more rasher than me, but I still enjoyed my bacon sandwich.
Life is not perfect!
Lighten up you miserable gits!'"
Well said

Exactly. I'm a big fan of the Northstanders, but on this occasion I won't back down.
Chanting abuse and 'scum' comments is out of order.
When they support OUR team they are brilliant.

I wasn't around in the 1970's so wouldn't know what football was like back then,
Lighten up, chill out, I'm not saying it's right, but when a chant gets going with a naughty word in do you not join in and just stand with a face on moaning about the fact that they used bad language??
How many games to you go to and hear no swearing??

| If your chant and swear in the street you would be cautioned by the police and probably fined. What makes a rugby game any different?

| There was a bit of chanting in the Northstand from Leeds fans too. 'Wakefield's a poophole' to the sound of The Beach Boys' Sloop John B stood out the most. Think they sing it every time they visit. Personally I couldn't give a monkey's.

If you ran up to someone in the street and tackled them to the floor you would be cautioned by police, What makes a rugby game any different?

I don't join in......why would I?
I cheer on my team and sometimes criticise players or ref but I am sufficiently educated to do that without swearing. Swearing and chanting abuse is different though.

I don't have the same sort of adrenaline (no not beer as I drive to every game) running through my body when walking through the streets, nor am I a football hooligan, everything said and done gets left in the stadium! It's just banter get over yourselves! Stop finding stuff to moan about! We won after great team spirit was shown, something that was lacking under agar, just enjoy it and stop moaning,

It isn't different. If you do that on the terrace you'll be cautioned.

Theres no banter in singing "if you really ******* hate em clap your hands" Thats just vile language and not fit for an area were children are present. If you do not understand this you obviously have an issue. Yes i understand there is swearing at a rugby league game, but when a few hundred people are singing it together thats completely different. Kids like to get involved in the chants and if they start copying that its obviously not good. The northstanders are nothing short of brilliant at times. But spoil it at other times.
