I for one will give him a good reception, I wish we still had him tbh but fully understood why he had to go . he for mine is one of the top props in super league and wakey was his learning ground to become that player he is now, I will always think of him as a good player for us

Didn't go to Salford and not bothered either way if players/ex players get grief or adulation so long as the grief isn't personal stuff I think they should be able to cope with it. Tim Smith in my opinion was perhaps the most over rated player I have seen in a Wakey shirt in 15 years. Amazing business to get 80k for the fella.

Amor deserves an unreserved welcome - thought he never stinted in any game he played for us and along with fees received for smith and aiton etc kept the club afloat with a genuine chance of staying up. I ll be cheering him when he comes out of the tunnel and after that I hope he has a total mafe !!!

We have major doubts over Walsh, Soliola, Percival, Turner and Walmsley. Lomax isn't 100% but should play and LMS is facing a ban.

On Amor - I hope he gets a bit of good natured stick, and I'm sure he'll take it in the manner it's intended; he seems like a good lad with a healthy sense of humour. Personally, I have no reason to feel ill-will towards him - he was a great pro who sweated blood for the club in every single game he played - wish more players had his attitude.

More broadly, even with injuries and bans, this is a massive ask; Saints are a very well drilled side and they have great attacking structures - let's just hope they misfire and we can scrap out a win; I don't care if it's pretty or skilful, I just want the points.

All the players that left did so for the greater good of the club. I cannot think of one who has shown nothing but gratitude for what we did for their careers. I haven't read any negative comments and each in their own way contributed in the red, white and blue.
In different circumstances I doubt any would have left so I think all deserve to receive our support with the hope that they and their new team have an off day. I fear however, that our usual small but vocal group of Mensa drop outs will not be able to control their enthusiasm.
