| Gerry Round tops.
You do not get GB caps and be on Lions tours for nothing.
Next Gary Cooper , best attacking full back I have seen. Also GB tourist.
Les Sheard was class and played for England.

I'm thinking Les Sheard. Midgley took over after him.

Agree about Wraith, great all round full back, but didn't he go to Australia before returning to join Cas?

| The 1970s full backs were Geoff Wraith followed by Les Sheard. Terry Crook played a few before Trevor Midgley came through from the Colts in 1976. Henry Oulton also started in 1977

| Gerry Round is the obvious choice but Geoff Wraith and Gary Cooper were both exceptional, although Wraith saved his best for Castleford when he had matured into a brilliant playe
Henry Paul deserves a mention even though he played barely a season as a teenager. Better than his brother.

When I started watching in 75... Full back wa covered by Henry Oulton and Terry Crook... When Les Sheard came back from injury he was first choice... Then through other injuries shared duties with Trevor Midgley... A decent kid who came through the colts team, but was a victim of the boo boys of the day... Post wembley 79... Steve Diamond and Harry Box had spells in the 1 shirt.
Ps my favourite full back was perhaps Col Halpenny... But the most talented was, by far... Henry Paul.

| Geoff Wraith said himself what made him a better player was his spell in Oz.We have had some good full backs in the past and some dire ones.
