| I can say one thing with some certainty. A couple of more home performances like last night and Mick carter will not need to bother with his safety improvements a 5300 capacity will be more than enough for our needs. In fact he will be praying for 4000 to turn up.

| given the much reduced capacity some people may have not bothered travelling at the small risk of not being able to get in, might just have been the tipping point to say sod it, i'll watch on TV instead

| If memory serves me right Cas -v- Bradford in 2013 was about 6,500 on a weekend in the middle of summer so I hardly think we're in a position to talk about poor attendances. The truth is attendances are an area where every club in SL needs to do better; being slightly less poor than someone else, stopped being fun years ago.

I think this is bang on. A fair possibility of being turned away in the normal course of events.

| It was pretty much one of those perfect storm thingumies. Both teams in the doldrums following close season off-field issues, resulting in loss of players. Both teams on the back of a first round loss. Still not 'summer' rugby. Thursday night. On TV. Low season ticket sales.
On top of all that the ground is restricted to 5333. Everyone expecting to fairly easily getting close to that. Many walk-up/away fans will not have had time or wanted to commit to buying a ticket in advance (habit/weather) and didn't want to risk turning up and not getting in. May as well play safe and watch on TV.
With hindsight, it may have been better deciding on all ticket earlier, publishing the fact and making them widely available.
Attendance against Catalans is a worry. It's hard to push people who have always paid on the gate into the habit of buying a ticket in advance, but this would help the club so much. (or better still, buy a season ticket).
It's a tough one.

I',m pretty sure it does include corporate.

think this cas fan wants to look at the figure at WR today 5100 on a sunday and no sky

against catalan who don't bring too many supporters to away games compared to a game between 2 teams not very far apart

That's not a bad attendance, not great but certainly not poor.
London v Salford was poor 1246 and Salford took over 300 people. London really do need to go.

| For their first home game of the season that is pathetic from London. Its high time that they frop out out of SL and either start again from scratch or give it up for good.

I think they should go for good and let the Skolars carry on the London RL representative, the broncos are like the RL gypsies hopping from home to home, not developing a steady club or fan base, they've had some great teams over the years and still there attendances are championship 1 at best.
