as for the £400 critics for the dolls?? whch people seem to be making an issue of...they sell the score cards before the game..400 tickets means £400 means no outlay to the club!! i am sure that more are sold..the work that sarah does gets kids in..which means it gets their parents in which means they pay for tickets which increases the attendance!
getting the boys in playing rugby gets parents in again paying money increasing attendances..but there are a few out there with what seems to be a vendetta against certain people!!

Err actually we don't. We may feel that given an emotional investment in the club that we do, but, unless you are a shareholder you have no "right" to question it. We may Want to know, but have no god given right to be told. |

I have to say I'm with NGB4C on this
We have every right to question the club, and especially on an open forum like this
BUT we don't have a right to an answer. It would be nice and it would in my opinion help them, but they don't have to.

I think we all feel let down more than anything. The club seemed to be on the up, gates doubled, season ticket sales good, and a squad that could and should have been built on.
No real indication of any kind of problem , but the people in the know must have known about the shortfall months ago.
I don't think anyone at the club thought they would start to hood wink the fans, but tried to sort the problem out.
Having to go public and sell one of our major assets shows the depth of the problem we have, and I say we .
Lets hope WEE can help the club survive and that a further statement will soon be presented.

Yes Lampy that's the thing.
I/we felt things were on the up.
Brought back down to earth, no bowels of the earth ,with a cataclysmic bump.
The thing that really gets to me is the thought of other clubs in the Wakefield district in the higher echelons and the team ,my team, that bears the name of Wakefield also rans.
Why is it that we seem unable to attract, as others have stated elsewhere,the MR BIG.

How do you know you could Al, very easy to sit there and say that. It's not as if all the previous owners we've had were idiots, who didn't know how to run successful businesses. Completely different game running a club like ours unless you are genuinely loaded. |
