This cannot fault the effort in defence the best we've been this year but our worst in possession Leeds offered little with the amount of ball they had.

Agree, it was obvious the loss of Sykes and Collis would cause a disruption and so it proved but you can't fault the lads, they kept at it all night and weren't far off.

Spot on mate. We were poor with ball in hand.
Thank goodness for Lee Smith and Peter Fox who clearly have Leeds in their blood

| Agar's decisions tonight to play washbrook at 6 and Trout in the second row were bizarre. I think Trout gives 100% but he is not super league standard unfortunately. Washbrook at 6 over Goulding/Wildie is just ridiculous. I can't defend those kinds of decisions. That said, we were a few individual errors off winning while playing rubbish again. Can't fault the defence but once again it was down to individual errors. 2 points lost on reflection.

Trout had a decent game tonight.
We lost due to turning the ball over too many times whilst in possession (which we have done all season) and some bizarre reffing decisions.
The effort and team spirit was superb though and we will win next week.
I'm already looking forward to it.

| not sure about decent..
Washy has played 6 at Hull in the past.... for me moving Lee Smith into 6 would have left us with no recognised centres ... I probably would have done the same... but would have played Annakin / Walshaw instead of Trout who was again no where near what is needed against an opposition like Leeds
We had the forward pack last night to beat leeds if we kept the ball and kicked well (would hate to see our completion rate - sub 50% I reckon)
hindsight is great ... what i'll say about Wildie and Goulding... both are no where SL 6's from there performances for us and championship sides ... like you say though ..does seem strange from Richard to put both in the squad and not use...
Last night was a huge opportunity .. Leeds were abysmal... loads of possession, dominated territory and to lose by 2 having made the number of mistakes we did is a real tough one to swallow ... weve been to Headingley and played twenty times better and got thumped.
