Would this be the same Brian McDermott who ,when playing for Bradford against Leeds, laid out three Leeds players in quick succession ?

I would expect at least one match ban, we would expect similar if a Leeds player had done it to one of ours. At the end of the day the friendlies will serve as matches for any ban anyway. Also You may find Brian was not himself on Boxing day

I personally disagree with you because I think it is an accepted view that the incident did not warrant a red card, it was bad refereeing and adding insult to injury by implementing a ban would be ridiculous, but like I said before not a surprise.

Its been mulled over a lot on the forum but Bailey grabbed Poore blah blah Bailey started it and should have been off. If it was a Wakey player who acted like Bailey did then they deserved the reaction Poore got from Bailey.

In all fairness what do you expect when your opposite number grabs you out of the line after some fiery hits and fair bit of afters too?

According to the RFL 'disciplinary rota' there were not any members chosen to sit on the panel, so I assume that there was not a panel meeting today.

Rubbish he should not get any ban. He should have been sin binned at the time and this poor refereeing decision affected the quality of the game. It should not be made even worse now by banning him.

I suspect had Bailey not been bleeding everywhere it may have only been yellow. A referee out of his depth influenced by the sight of blood was what made him produce a red card IMO

Who was the ref? As previously said, he should get a bonus for smacking Bailey!!!

I think you'll find that he didn't let anyone down. If anything he provided great entertainment considering it was only a friendly.

I would have payed £100 per ticket just to see those first 20 minutes of the game and then go home.
