| One thing I'll say about Agar is that the players seem to want to play for him, and he hasn't exactly been blessed with a champion squad to work with. You can't throw a team together, I suppose, because the only ones you'll get are the ones who are available, willing, and within our budget. I suspect that wasn't a big pool to work from.

| Last week Cas fans were screaming for Potter in. I wanted Harry Potter in to sort out our defensive. Can't question Potter's integrity and he's done a very good job this year, yes Bradford have a decent side but they've had some chronic injuries plus the off field stuff. Potter deserves a paid job somewhere!

| Quote newgroundb4cas="newgroundb4cas"I agree with Vasty I find Potter quite boring . Bradford have a very good team and should be in the 8 this year. Sts he failed hes not that good. We had a good coach in JK he would be doing miles better with this current squad !'"
Yep...we did a Hull. Swapped a steady and well organised coaching approach that got results for...well..what? An assistant coach. This is Richard Agar's level. How we could not see this, the way they played against us at the KC last year, their mediocrity all year, I do not know. RA appears as inspiring as Norris off Coro. We have a better squad than last year and the performance is barely any different. I hope the board listen to what I feel is now the majority of fans. I..I think we, have had enough. We didn't want Agar, he's had his chance. It's not working. Make a deal and get rid please.

I don't care if a coach is boring or not, Smith is a bit boring but a fantastic coach.
Potter, well i really don't know how good he is so i won't comment.

| A lot better squad than last year do a comparison 1 to 17 of the side last year and this.Look at some of the games and apart from the odd few we have been poor in the second half.Salford home almost blew it same with Catalan in the 2nd half after blowing them away in the first.Bulls home went in at half time behind but the better side in 1st half then got blown away.Keep having performances like this and all the good work will go down the pan and uptake of season tickets will drop and the fan who dont come to every game and pays on the gate will keep away.We need someone to put fire in the belly and Potter aint that man nor is Agar.

| I'm obviously not an RL coach or a fitness conditioner but I would put some of our poor 2nd half displays down to the fact that we are not tiring out opposition defences in the same way that they are ours, and I put that down to size\attrition.
We all know we are lightweight in the pack and I think that is what is causing some of the 2nd half issues. Our defenders are being battered by big blokes while the oppositions are not and that takes its toll later on in the games.
Whilst I can't entirely lay the blame for this at Agar's door (he can't sign players if they're not available) the fact that we have consistently refused to play for example Matt James and given his bench place to another 2nd rower is down to the coach. Everyone knows we are missing a couple of genuine props but the refusal to play one that we do have is just ridiculous IMO.

Agreed.
And on the subject thread i'd have Potter over Agar any day of the week but it ain't gunna happen so we may as well get on with looking forward to mostly below par performances for the next two seasons.

| Since when did Potter fail at Saints? He made the GF two years in a row... The first time against Leeds - where Daniel Anderson also 'failed' to beat them previously, and the second time against Wigan when they were missing influential halves Pryce and Eastmond. Royce Simmons didn't do any better the following year either.
Potter's first year in charge of the Bulls was like his first year with the Catalans - it took time for his structures and playing style to bed in with the players but when it did the following year he was successful with significant improvements in both cases.
