| We were very lucky to come out of admin as we did.
I hope Bradford have something planned or are as lucky as we were (well maybe half as lucky). A tense 10 days for the fans.
Anybody get an invite to the barbie?

It stinks TBH. Hardworking people have stumped up cash to prop them up and then a couple of weeks later another financial black hole opens up. Either the management were incompetant bordering on negligent when they asked fans for that cash or they knew perfectloy well that the cash would release them from any PGs they had entered and were out to save their own necks. Perhaps if the cash had gone in to some kind of supporters trust rather than being gifted to the club, they'd have been able to salvage something out of this mess.

Which is exactly what several people said on here when the whole debacle started - the advice wasn't welcomed by some Bulls fans.

| Well the RFL set the precedent with us and the Crusaders last year when both of us eent into Administration with the four points deduction, so RFL, you've gotta imply the same punishment on them, even if you do happen to own their ground. Also, should the Bulls fail to finish the season and go out of business they should have their Super League licence stripped from them and any points gained their matches this seaso given to the opponents: for example, Bradford have beate us twice this season, therefore we would acquire four points. Anyone due to play Bradford would get a "bye week" a la the NRL Premiership when that had 15 teams in it. So then for next season, again if Bradford do go out of business, then their place in the Super League should be taken by whoever wins the Championship Grand Final, regardless of ground quality, infrastructure, resources, etc, etc. Should a "new" Bradford club be formed, then they should be made to start up in either the Championship or Championship 1 just like the Crusaders and made to stay there until the next round of Super League Licence Franchise applications are started (in this instance 2014). All in all, with Bradford becoming the third Super League to enter administration since this whole franchise malarky began in 2009, hopefully this should send a stark message to Super League and the RFL; The franchise system is not working!

Personally I have much sympathy with the vast majority of their fans (excluding the ones who took pleasure in our own plight) and although many of us can now say "I told you so"
this is not a good day for the sport.'"
Agree with you there. Its not a good day for the fans of the team who have given their hard earned money in good faith to save the club. They should at least have channelled their monies through their supporters trust who may have been able to ensure it did not just go into a black hole without questiones being asked. Its a sad day for the game too . The framing the future etc was supposed to ensure clubs did not spend beyond their means and avoid such situations , with rumours of other clubs in fianacial trouble looks like the governing body have not been governing. Time for some supporter representation at Red Hall along with other changes in the way clubs/ game is run.

| If what I have heard is true there could be another West Yorkshire team in dire straits this season.

| Feel sorry for the fans who put all the pledge money up, just to be rewarded by more bad management of the club.
Hopefully the bulls will get a buyer and stay in superleague.

You don't suppose its c*s do you? Duringthe Wigan v Widnes match last night. I heardEddie Hemmings mentioning about c*s hsving some "off field traumas" while promoting next Monday's live Sky match between c*s and Widnes.

not easy to watch your club just go by the way side but we had been in this situation before.
many fans saw through the administration and was willing to start the club again from bare bones playing on the local park with no stadium at all, that is the difference and the gamble paid off.
The Bulls fans didn't see that and expected everything to be rosy afterwards
I'm afraid Bradford after selling off its players will have jack**** and this is all down to the RFL plonker that gave the ok to buy the stadium off them to keep them in the top eight

TBF I suspect there are several clubs teetering on the brink. The whole sport is in a complete mess. I suspect the image rights taxation issue has pushed many clubs towards insolvency, combined with lower gate receipts and declining sponsership revenue. The whole structure needs looking at - perhaps reduce the cap, a more rigorous examination of each club's business plans, dare I mention the "M" word?

| Feel sorry for the fans who were gullible enough to pledge the £500k despite our warnings that all they were doing was allowing the Directors who had got them into the mess to absolve themselves of thier personal guarantees and that Administration was inevitable.
It will be interesting to see how the RL community view this now because I felt that we got very little sympathy except from Tony Smith, and I'm sure there were some that were actually pleased.
As I say feel sorry for the fans but not the people who ran the Club into the mess.

| If Bulls were liquidated would the quota players be exempt from quota rules like they did with Crusaders? They may do this until end of season as doing it longer wouldn't help if bringing in a championship team as players left over would be worse than what Widnes have this season.
