A while ago when Leeds were hovering around 8th place, I said if any team could possibly win it from such a lowly position it would be Leeds.

They've gathered plenty of momentum in the last few weeks and that counts for a hell of a lot. They also have bags of recent experience in winning when it counts. It wouldn't surprise me if they won it.

You have to give all the credit to Leeds and in particular MacDermott. He was written off by the majority of Leeds fans yet he has managed to get his side performing well at the right stage of the season and get them to 2 finals.

I hate to say this but I was almost glad that Leeds won just to wipe the smugness and cockyness off some of the Wir fans faces who thought they would walk into the Grand Final.

I was hoping for a Wire v Saints grand final, at which I could be a genuine neutral.

Now I'll have to hope for a Leeds v Saints grand final, with Leeds getting leathered.

As much as I hate Leeds being successful, you can't take it away from them last night. Their tactics were perfect for beating Wire who have been outstanding in attack all season. Leeds' defence was excellent and rattled Warrington, not allowing them to get into their comfort zone. An excellent game, a breath of fresh air, where on balance Leeds deserved it (there I said it). As a neutral(-sh) RL fan, I hope the remaining 2 games are as entertaining.

Leeds deserved it, but there was a big element of Wire choking in the play offs again. Too many of there major players froze last night whilst the Leeds lads that have been there and done it stood up to be counted. Can see them winning next week now.

I know we don't have the Rhinos squad, but I hope we give Agar the time to rebuild and remember the Leeds season. If the fans had been listened to, McDermott would be unemployed now. If they start next year how they have finished this year, now that he has got things going his way, they could have a hell of a year (and if Gentle and the other fella at Kr do to their clubs what Maguire and Brown did at Wigan and Huddersfield, there could be a genuinely competitive top six).
