Completely agree with the poorly coached comment. It shows how bad we are as a team when the fans can call the majority of plays that we produce. Our tackling was atrocious and even McDermott knew that the best way to beat us it to throw it out wide. A few home truths hit home for me last night
1. Semi - You've been a great servant over the years but please give it up, the legs aren't there any more.
2. Rinaldi - A good start to the season but even I know that the run from dummy half is followed by that blind short pass to the prop at the side of you that gets hammered everytime and is lucky to keep hold of the ball.
3. Tackling - It's a basic skill but something we lack, especially out wide where we seem to be outnumbered. If we have 3 men in the tackle why can't we bring the player down or stop the offload?
4. Utilising the dummy runner - How come every other team in SL can do this when they move the ball out wide yet we always seem to manage just a long flat pass?
On a positive note for me I think Tongia could give us something different next season and Wildie looked lively again.
One more moan. Bailey is just a thug and the sooner someone hammers him the better. Vasty suggested he would be a good asset to the team but my season ticket would go in the bin if we got him. Hate the guy.
