Your right - im dreaming. It went something like this..................
Wakefield Trinity Wildcats were struggling both on and off the field. Money was tight and no major signings were announced. People were screaming from the rooftops about how we would fail ( especially so called fans of other clubs ) but against all odds we secured enough points not to finish bottom of the Super League table - again - and actually made it to the play offs and a Challenge Cup Semi Final.
All of a sudden a new shiny stadium was built, our money worries disappeared and we made mutiple high class signings which propelled us to the levels we achieved in the 1960's !
