it's my birthday on Friday if anyone's feeling generous?

I've got the away adidas shirt and interestingly enough it's got a proper collar - and so's "the king's" on my avitar , now i know it's obviously a genuine shirt , but i can remember us wearing them for a couple of seasons , and i can remember the v neck one - but did Wally Lewis wear one ?

I have in my hand a copy of open rugby from febuary 1984 with a picture of wally on the back it also as a collar and also the adidas badge is blue the one on ebay looks red to me so beware.

Can't see any mention of there being a signature on it at all. If the seller can prove it's original, that's the £250 question (or the £205 question as things currently stand). No reason to suppose it isn't, but proving it is another thing.

I was just being a bit naughty really , i'd love it! - probably just bad picture quality with the badge - not sure it's been worn by "the king" though .

the badge is interesting too. when did we change to the one with the blue W. the one on the avatar looks like that one and not like the one on e-bay??
Still, very nice shirt but authenticity certainly affects the value.

could it be an earlier (Topliss) shirt?

The badge on the Wally and Toppo shirts is the old Fleur de Lys - we went to the w badge about 87 (ish) - think it was the blue shirt and the red & white stripes at the top (british coal sponsored) that had it on 1st - may be wrong though .

The Adidas shirts we wore were extremely thick cotton and from the picture on eBay it doesn't look as heavy as I remember.

Also I don't remember having a v-neck collar on the shirt
