When Ray Price was here, he started the Dreadnaughts call. Any player on the field could call it, only a maximum of 4 times during a game, but when someone shouted Dreadnaughts, the whole team had to play at maximum speed and effort for 5 minutes. Often used just before and after half time.
If you knew it existed it was obvious when the call went up. Was a great motivator.

The old South Bank why did we ever knock it down and build a wall

Great picture of Belle Vue, it’s a shame that south stand and roof was knocked down. Belle Vue wouldn’t get half as much stick if it still had the two stands that were demolished. As an aside, I really think the sponsors adverts on the roof really added some individuality to stadiums, unfortunately, the future will see most clubs playing out of identikit stadiums.
