As posters have indicated, these people have not even seen the proposals so I don't know how they can be against it. I could understand it if the plans had been submitted and then they would have had a chance to see how it would affect their lives. I wonder if they have even considered that this development is much more than just a stadium and it could improve their lives and property values.

these that are objecting I suggest are frighten that stanley will be taken over by vast amount of drunken hooligans, in the past few days the millwall / west ham fracas it enough to put anybody of sport all together, no one knows the package as yet as is not gone public, I wouldn't mind its not really in stanley village as such, there's a small row of house on the left before the planned site

Nowhere in the article does it say that "full planning application" will be submitted.

Shame though that a group of people want to try and ruin what is the perfect opportunity to develop sport in the area. People need to see past the "it's just a rugby ground" facade and see it as a multi-functional 24/7 facility.

planning application is to be submitted shortly and that is full planning permission ie what the stadium will look like road access and other facilities. This has been brought forward has the project has gathered pace with funding been put in place etc, York court have been busy with this for the last few months.

Exiting times if that's the case! Just one question if
anyone knows, what will happen with the current hospitality suites ie
little benidorm! Will it be sold on and used towards funding
for the ground or go towards team strengthening etc?

We will send them back for credit.


Trouble is I don't think we paid the full amount for them when we entered the CVA.(I think it's called that but maybe wrong)
