I wouldn't put that Southernwood in a big game like this. There are more options like swapping JD and Grix around from wing to loose.

give the kid a chance yes its an huge game but hes playing well and deserves the chance how old was Fox,Wright,Hunte and Toppo when they got the chance in the 1st team if the kids good enough he old enough |

Bad example to put Alan Hunte into that group!
Alan made his Trinity debut against Castleford and promptly got smashed all over the field by Shaun Irwin.
I think Caine Southernwood is in there for the experience in the dressing room and being around first team super league footballers. The atmosphere of the pre-match build up, a taste of the intensity of preparations ect. |

After his effort against saints, I think hendo would be unlucky to miss out, they're I've said it!!!! Hendo in the 17 for me, nurse!! Nurse!!!!
Who misses out? Maybe stosic if he's not 100% we don't need a scare like we've had with him and then him getting crocked and then being out for 8 weeks!!!!!! Sure JK will make the right choice on that one if he's not 100%.
would like to see southernwood get a run, but like other poster I think it's for the experience as much as anything else.

| imho this isn't the game to introduce young Cain to SL. Yes he is a VERY good prospect, but Cas would just target him defensively all day, and imho he wouldn't cope with that just yet. Maybe CC at home when we should have plenty of ball at their end of the pitch would be a more sensible scenario............only my opinion. Think it will be more for experience.............but we'll find out Sunday  |
