Big win for the club that today against a very good team.
Puts a 4 point gap between us in 6th and the rest now and depending on the Pies tonight could be still on KR's tails.

Thought the three times we went for the two were bad decisions and that last minute try got Kear out of jail for those decisions. In that heat against a nearly beaten Quins we should have hammered home the advantage we had but instead we took the safe option and let them back into the game.

I say always take the two. We are not a free scoring side and even with possession latter on we struggled to make any impact on a good defence. Crash balls close to opposition line have never worked for us and probably never will!

As I said on another thread Quins were looking beaten at that point and we had an opportunity to turn the screw and finish them off instead we let them off the hook. Happily we managed to save the game in the nick of time.

Thought the same. Bet they wondered what the hell was happening! Great atmosphere at the end, good to see the ground bouncing for once.

His confidence is running high and we'll need that next week at Hudds.

We shouldn't have the mentality that we need to take the two every time we get an opportunity to. Harlequins were out on their feet at times and when in possession in heat like that you need to make it pay. Taking the two was a negative approach when we had a chance to pile on the pressure when they looked vulnerable.

As for us not being a free scoring side, if you look at our points for, there's only Saint Helens and Leeds who have scored more.
