15k, Don't think we could fill it tbh. 12k is just the right size for us at the moment. Untill our home support picks up i would not think about a 15k stadium.

Makes no difference, so long as they build the ability to expand into the original plans.

Where is that enclosed stadium clan?

My Initial thoughts were that building a small capacity stadium
meant building something rather basic.
I suppose it all comes down to how much money you have to spend
but on doing a little research I found a number of stadiums
of simular capacity that have real character and identity.

I would prefer the corners to be open, for the sake of the pitch.
It will be a new pitch, and not have the decades of growth, drainage and other growy things that BV has, that TRB and his ilk know all about.

It (the pitch) will need all the TLC that Mother Nature can give it.

I like the look of that 15k stadium. The steep single tiered bowl makes it look very imposing! It reminds me a lot of Spanish football venue's and they are often a cauldron of noise.

Prefer an enclosed 15,000 seat stadium but I'm greedy.

Seriously I'll be happy with a stadium, beggars can't be choosers.

If you build to a certain capacity and then have seats all the way round, it will make for less rows along the sides (ie, a couple of thousand will be in the corners), which means that the ground will look smaller generally and will have a fewer number of spectators bearing down on any particular point of the pitch. Also, means fewer seats nearer the centre line, my preferred spot.

So, for me, 15,000 open.

For a 12k stadium I would have it open.

For a 15k stadium I would have it enclosed.

12k may look a bit small if its enclosed but I would take anything at present!

Don't care if it looks small as long as it holds at least 12k I dont care.


But like you say, I would take anything that is up to standard.

Developers would p**s themselves if we asked for anything more than 12000 with our gates at the moment, as for style, I'll take whatever they offer and be greatful.
I think some of us need to stop thinking were big time charlies and get real.
