| Scrutons tweeted he's not going anywhere which is a massive relief for us.
Sammuts a great buy for you guys. Guarantee he will be your top try scorer. You have to be prepared to take a little rough with the smooth like dropping the ball on the 1st tackle from a scrum with 2 mins before HT. Has a bit of a habit with doing that. And don't let him kick for touch. He always manages to miss touch a few times a season (remember once against Wigan he did it 3 times in one game!!)
But the positives far out way the negatives, he has that x-factor. He scores plenty and creates plenty giving you a superb attacking weapon. He won games on his own at times last season. As long as you can put up with making schoolboy errors. he will light up BV this year.
Very unhappy he has gone and i am worried about our creativity. Never been convinced by Gale

I don't think the Bulls really had any choice in the matter do you? 1.3m behind the rest of the clubs in real terms and to add insult to injury its shared out between all the remaining super league clubs - you just couldn't make it up.
This is the reason we still in the , nothing else

There is another reason and it's quite a simple one. When you knew you were on half sky money for 2 years you kept running with a squad likely to be costing you the full cap or pretty near to it. Time has since proven you could not afford to do so, so part of the reason your in the mess you are is your bod didn't act when they should have done. We would have been in the same boat but Michael carter took over and set about balancing the books

And sadly you really do believe that. Must be difficult living life with your head buried that deep in the sand.

| I'd play Sammut at fullback giving us some real strike from kick returns, that wouldn't prevent him from moving into a pivot position when we had the ball either.
Sieka and Goinet at 7 & 6 with McShane/Wildey covering hooker.
We've assembled a sizeable pack with more depth and ability than we're being credited for. The issues lay in the three quarter line but there are some unknown quantities in there that might mean we're solid without being spectacular in the centres and wing positions.

Interesting comment re sammut playing full back is that because you think he offers more there than mathers or is mathers the next to leave?

I've not heard anything about Mathers leaving.
Sammuts no stranger to the full back role and could be a nightmare for opposition teams when returning kicks (essential in the modern game). Had we not signed Godinet and Siejka then Sammut would HAVE to play 6 or 7, however we have to play and get the most out of the personnel in the squad therefore I'd find a pace for Sammut at 1.

| Would strongly advise not playing Sammut at full back.
Can't catch a high ball to save his life. He can play there if ansolute needs be, but 6 his is best position. He doesn't have the defensive skills or composite to play at 1.

| If we need to maximise the first choice players in the squad put Sykes at 4, Sammut at 6, Siejka at 7 and Godinet at hooker with Mcshane coming on as impact off bench?...Siejka not yet arrived and may not be fit for another 5 weeks so time to assess the strength of the various connotations etc

| Let's just forget about Wildie who deserves a sustained run. Why has this Siejka got priority?
