We have improved the quality of the squad but I still think we are lacking an half back who can put a player through a gap. In Miller we have an individualist and Finn a kicking game but we still need a playmaker.
If we are only making one more signing then it should be at half back unless I have missed someone in the current squad. We don't need Moore because how many of us were relieved when he was injured and had to be replaced by Godinet plus he is a penalty waiting to happen.

Whilst I'm not a big fan of Wood it's a position we're lacking in so any depth is better than none. He has the ability to make a brake and can cover 9 if required. Also a club trained player.

I don't mind Wood,like you say,a home trained player I believe.My only concern was a 2nd rower beat him to an in goal kick when Shudds were down at BV.Defence and positioning may be an issue,but going forwards with the pack we are assembling may be a good asset.

You're spot on there. He makes about one per season! How many times do we need to bring him back before the penny drops.

Can't believe folk on here are talking about kyle wood in such glowing terms is no better and in my opinion not as good as matt wilde, with the help of his brother in law woody had more shoe ins than windsors

We don't need to buy a half back to sit on the side line.
We start with Miller and Finn. If there is a problem Hall takes over and we look for a loan player.
If Wood were available he'll still be available then.

According to league table on WTW website we are up to 9th in table, thats an improvement before we start
