ok il try to explain to you, our club is littered with people with no affection for the club from the coaches down to the players, no local lads, no local grunt. a stepping stone to something else. is agar any better than andy kelly, hudson better than say richard slater. with the odd exception if your youngster had talent would you trust trinity to develop them from a junior to the top. is jordan greyson any worse than mathers, is annekin worse than washbrook. we have one of the best areas for talent in the country, lads who are as good as wigan and leeds at 16 but we along with many others dont know what to do with them. someone seriously needs to get a grip of our club on the playing side cause floating along like its ok is not good enough its pathetic. always 2nd best always on the cheap. WERE PLAYING WITH LADS CAREERS ITS PATHETIC.

I was running the Brighton Marathon and I can tell you I would rather run the last 8 miles again than watch another game by a team coached (if that is the word) by Agar. Thank God I couldn't go. What an embarrassment. I am currently ashamed to support this great club of ours. Agar is dragging us through the Mire. OUT OUT OUT!!!!'"
I'm never ashamed of my club, embarrassed yes

I can understand your frustrations but just because coaches aren't from Wakefield that doesn't make them any less passionate than if the did, are we going to go down the road the Yorkshire cricket did in the past and only had players and coaches from that area.
I agree the club has lost a lot of passion and grunt and we do need some motivational players standing up

The most recent 'motivational' player was from the Aussie part of Normy ie JD.
I don't get this 'local' thing.
Where do you call 'local'?
How many of our supporters are local by this definition, I wouldn't be, perhaps they should stop me going into BV?

I thought that Agar was "committed" for 3 years, regardless of which division we were in.
IIRC, MC said something along these lines at the meeting 5 months ago ?
The only plus point with our current situation is that, at the first meeting ALL of u would have been happy with 11th place after 7 rounds, indeed most of us will still be happy with 11th spot after 27 rounds.
It's just the dross that we have had over he past fortnight that has caused many fans to worry about our plight and the ability of the Coach to make any improvements.
Can he really make the players believe that they are good enough
IF he can instil belief, we will be ok but, too many fans think that RA cant.

I'm not bothered where the players are from, if players from outside your 'local' area are better players then I'd have the non local players in the team, but I can see some advantages of having some home grown players in the team, but only on merit.
Where is this 'local' area?
Is our club captain 'local'? I bet he was born nearer to BV than many who you class as local.
Do you have to be born within the sound of the cathedral bells, or perhaps St Caths would be more apt!
I understand that you are from Normy 'try scorer', if so then I bet I only live a couple of miles further from the ground than you. Is Fev your nearest rl ground?

when I used to go to Crofton school the same trait happened at school then as now there is a divided split between Wakey and Fev, mainly Crofton and Walton was Wakey, Sharlston and Streethouse was Fev.
Now this week I learned of a mate who was born and breed in Walton who I grew up with is now a Cas fan so where do boundaries lies.
last year Kirmo was the die hard of the red white and blue and worth a call into the nation squad

Once established as a Super League player he chose to move on (or up as he stated at the time) to Cas. The move was an open secret done deal for about half the time of his last season at Wakefield.
Wakefield was just a temporary vehicle at the time just like it would be now if a coaching opportunity came up at Cas.'"
100% agree with this

Could the same not be said of 99% of people involved in sport?
