I went to Fev v Sheffield last week. Let me give you a tip. We aren't going to win every week in the Championship. We aren't going to come close...

1. It's highly likely Fev will be in SL next season.
2. Should you get relegated, You don't even know what players or coach you will have.
3. Should you get relegated, you will have breathing space, and time to regroup as a club, with pressure off, and be able to set your goals for the future.

You cannot say we will or we won’t as it would be a completely different squad that would need to be judged on its own merits should we be relegated.

But we won’t have this team in the championship and hopefully with the core players and actually players that want to play for the shirt we will be at least competitive unlike we are at present in super league

It may be a completely different squad but put together by the same board with unchanged principles of business. The reduced revenue will automatically impact the squad we put together. We are not even sure we will be full time, so within one season we could be back to square one albeit with a nice stand, grass and lights.

Mc is stepping aside and no one knows what the new incumbent will put in place going forwards when he gets in the hot seat in a month or so’s time . At this point it’s only speculation, and personally I’d rather wait and see what plans he has for driving us forwards before commenting

I believe he did state that he could stay until the end of the year by which time you would hope that the squad would be complete and back in training so yes it could be entirely true.

I wasn't making a literal statement, it was based upon Sheffield being super organised and energetic, showing that they have been able to articulate a training ground structure on to the match day field.

Pretty much the same as ours.
We both had high tackle numbers. Both sets missed a lot of tackles. Both had 3-4 forwards running over hundred metres. Difference being, their worsed were a lot better than our worsed
