So yes hugely unrealistic IMHO unless Miller is the one who wants out and by some miracle there is a club out there willing to pay a fee.

What is it you know about the club exactly that gives rise to you thinking that realistically they will be selling Miller, that is once we've decided which club he's actually going to, just asking like.

Who has said anything about selling? We could be letting him go and terminate his contract early and be replacing with Gaskell. This could be an agreement for both parties. You and Vasty do know this is a forum where speculation is a greater percentage than actual facts.

What you are saying is basically the same thing though. You are suggesting we will sacrifice possibly our best player with a year's contract left to sign another player. I see no evidence this is how MC/CC runs the club but you seem to assume that's how it is run.

I have no issue whatsoever with your speculation, you could be right regarding Miller leaving. What I have pulled you up on is your assertion that this is typical of the club. I just don't see where it is.

Even MC has admitted we have made quite a few recruitment mistakes in last couple of years.

He did but they were all straightforward signings rather than players leaving early to fund others in backroom deals. They may have been duffers but none were signed at the cost of a top player as far as I can recall?

So when did Miller hold talks with Cas,and why would the arrival of Gaskell result in Millers departure.
Some also claim that Max will not be offered a new contract because Gaskell will be automatic choice for the FB spot.
