McGuire was a pain in the referees ear all game. We cleaned out act up and made it more difficult to penalise us.

In no time at all he's gonna be a substantial bit of kit when he finally gives up playing, it looks like he's already training for a more sedentary lifestyle.
He's pulling all the levers at HKR though, with Lunt out if he gets injured they'll be in trouble.

And how is that a reason to criticise him? The modern FB joins the attacking line and either sets up scoring plays, or backs up breaks made by others - you're basically criticising him for doing his job?! |

Thought we got the rub of the green on a couple of big calls for a change. HKR looked to have one down on the line under the sticks, a good one disallowed in the corner first half and a video ref would have found something wrong with the BJB try before he picked it up.
McGuire got told to shut up by Child in the second half, not at Leeds now son  Cracking pass for HKR's first try though.

Don't know about the corner one but they were nowhere near under the sticks, probably a lot short from where I was standing.
Don't agree in essence, best I can say is Childs reffed us slightly more fairly than normal.
HKR had a decent 30 mins in the first half where they were perhaps slightly the better team and perhaps that makes the final scoreline seem a touch harsh compared to the effort they put in. However lets not under sell ourselves, we were by far and away the superior team for the other fifty minutes and that's all you need.

The corner one was a definite try. Just seen the highlights. Entire body was in the air and he grounds the ball comfortably in play. |

Another Jowitt luv in, Chester doesn't pick him, the bat and ball gets taken home.
I honestly do not feel this luv, its true I'd rather see Grix in there because I think he's the better option, but if Jowitt gets the nod I'm not gonna cry about it, Chester knows what he's doing, picking the team best placed to win the game. |

Grix or Jowitt?
Grix has so much more experience and understanding, where as Max is still got a bit to learn.
I would say the same with Finn or Hampshire.
