| Quote: TheButcher "Haha. Locke has no love for Salford, believe me. He came on reputation, played one good game, became the games most expensive water-carrier then had a hissy fit when he was found out. He has bags of talent but poor application. I made comment when he came over to you not to expect anything, and I presume he's delivered on that front. Fwiw I think you could pip Salford to fourth spot on points as I don't think we'll win another game.'"
I was rather hoping we would pip you for the 3rd slot

| I thought that the appointment of Brian Smith would at least bring some discipline to the club but in light of last Saturday's poor attitude from all the players and this week's disgraceful behaviour and irresponsible actions of a few of our highest paid players it seems not to be the case.

| Sadly ball-in-hand some people don't react well to discipline. That is why I'm all for hefty punishment for those concerned. If they don't want to act in a professional way they can go and be unprofessional elsewhere. Don't want a tonne of bad apples in our cart.

| The most saddening aspect in all this is the seeming lack of respect by senior experienced players, to the club, the fans, coaching staff, and of course themselves mostly. What baffles me is, don't they realise that them as individuals are now presumably going to find it harder to secure deals at other clubs, surely?! Obviously I don't have the exact facts to hand, only what I've read like everybody else, but it just beggars belief when in certain cases they have been given second chances to resurrect their careers and they just seem to blow it. Of course they may already have deals tied up at other clubs, but in the case of Locke he's only here because of a dispute over unpaid money at Salford, and only he and Mr Koukash know the truth. It's 4 months now since Webster left, so many people were crying out for an experienced coach who would whip them into shape, give the club some discipline both on and off the field, but yet it's seemingly worse now than then in certain areas?! This is certainly no Brian Smith bashathon, but I really don't think he's had the effect desired yet, but of course if we do stay up then he will have been a success, although God only knows where we go from there having to recruit an almost entire squad capable of competing next in year in the space of 3 or 4 months! Obviously it takes time to implement things into a club, but with all the will in the world, if from MC down through to the players there's disharmony it's just an impossible task, It's like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand's doing half the time, and now there's seemingly zero respect between MC and the long suffering fans, which has filtered through to the playing staff so it would seem. People said the problem was Websters' negativity, but I think we all knew it went a bit deeper than that.....

| All Rover's Aussie's don't live in Brough.
On the subject of drink driving and who did what why when ?
Would you get in a car when you know a person the driver has been drinking.
Players contracts these days include standards of behaviour ie bringing the club into disrepute.
If i was to list all the professional sportsmen which have done exactly the same we would be here all night

Saw that, "a little drink" apparently. Very harsh to say but Scott knew the rules and I very much doubt he had been rumbled for half a pint of Carling.
Bit silly of the family member to be honest.

| And I'm sure if he'd gone to Smith to talk about it he'd have been more understanding but when you just do want regardless there is usually a consequence.
