Correct me if i'm wrong, but why would naming the stadium! 88m stadium make sence? Company's pay a lot of money for that privilage! I thought they are our new landlords and we pay them. |

Yes it would have been like Belle Vue being called Bank of Ireland stadium when they took ownership. Like you say the naming rights is about money into the Club and the only way 88m would get their name on the stadium is if they entered the raffle and won, or offered a good deal before that. |

Don't know where that comes from tbh. 88M are our landlords and other than the basics they won't do anything.
They will happily upgrade the stadium but they will up the rent accordingly to get their money back and a profit. Not saying that's impossible but WE will be the ones paying for it. |

Looking at the SDA architects website, who were tagged in that Twitter post - they've been mainly involved in residential developments and car show rooms with a few supermarkets, so I wouldn't get any hopes up from that.

Very hard to stay positive about any of this ground business any more. It seems without a Mr Big coming along for either Newmarket or Belle Vue then neither is going to progress. I admire the guys fighting for the cause but it's been stalemate for so long now, it's hard to see a breakthrough coming.
