What baffles me is that even when it's obvious there is an issue in the team (including coaching staff) you can't stop just repeating shat you've said with no thought.
The team is showing a lack of confidence and resilience. If Chester can't put that in them then there has to be a change of coach And players.
I've never mentioned Fifita. Another thing you've made up.'"
He is however responsible for coaching the players and instilling confidence and a style of rugby and a game plan.
We are absolutely clueless and the buck stops with him.
Every team drop the ball and give away mindless penalties. No coach teaches that. But come on. We are now into defending the indefensible territory aren't we?

How do you change contracted players because to do so will cost the club money. The same does not apply to Chester does it because we can get rid of him for free.
The problem is how many times have we done exactly the same despite whoever is on the field. I think it is also obvious to those who want to accept it Chester cannot motivate the current team I am sorry but Chester is not helping your defence of him and the numbers are dropping after each game but today was particularly embarrassing.

| What peed me of today was Kay started the game ,he was one of the main reasons why we moved the ball well in the first 15 mins, + fast meters from dummy half Was taken of for 45 minutes + so K Wood could walk about the field bringing nothing to the attack Then Kay came back on did two runs from dummy half and we moved the ball lot better Overhall a shocking display ,with a coach in charge that as no idea how to play attacking rugby ,and there were many times in the second half when we were not making 30 yards when we had the ball .We are only going one way with this coach in charge and that is the Championship

Do you not think the fact we were playing against 12 men helped Kay? I thought he had a ok game but Wood wasn’t poor from what I saw.

| I was at the game and we totally controlled the game for 15 minutes we were attacking ok and scored a couple of decent tries, jowitt and Ryan were looking dangerous and Ryan kicked well out of hand forcing a few mistakes and finding the floor regular. After that I don’t know what instructions went on but all of a sudden everything went down millers side and he took over the kicking game and basically kicked it to a man every kick resulting in a total loss of control of the game. Miller tried but the weakness was the other side and taking the kicking away from Ryan was just comical. We played the same way, we couldn’t make any ground and they strangled the life out of us. It’s the worst performance I’ve ever seen and I didn’t think I gave a toss about the game till I came out. Simply awful

Ah I see now. You have no reasoning for picking Chester out except its easier to do.
I wish you were in charge.
You don't need to do this anymore. The players have made the point something needs to change. Stop trying to work it out.

| Clueless and rudderless simple as
Sitting through that last 60 minutes it’s clear the players are not following any kind of instruction re how to manage a game, that or the instruction is not clear.
Time for a change.

| I've been quite a moderate regarding the Chester out call, but I have to say things are even taxing my patience,
For a team to lose a lead like today's and come out defeated is inexcusable.
It's either some of the players or the coach to blame, but ultimately the buck stops with the coach.
Our style of rugby (or lack of it) has been there for all to see for the last 2-3 seasons, with the exception of a handful of games
we've been made to look second rate, lacking in attacking ideas and enthusiasm.
I really wouldn't mind losing if we were playing style of rugby league I liked but we rarely do.
Rant over. Will I renew my season ticket - probably but I don't know why the hell I will!

| Quote: TimmySmith "Were you at today’s game? He was no worse than anyone else and probably the better player in the halves. Put a fair few bombs up but no chases on the back of it, he can’t do anything about that.'"
Yes I was !
Miller is our Captain, our leader, our senior half and playmaker. He's an overseas player and I would guess one of our highest earners. I don't fault his effort but his skill levels, leadership and game management are absolutely dire.
I'm heartily fed up of the unforced errors, aimless kicking and forward passes. He appears untouchable in terms of his selection yet is consistently poor in performance. IMO he should shoulder his share of responsibility for our performances as well as the coach.
Btw .. he wouldn't be the only one I would get rid of !

Always somebody else’s fault ain’t it. He blamed the refereeing last week. Try looking closer to home Chester.

Not easier but definitely necessary or do you still think he can turn things around. We cannot sack contracted players can we or do you think this is a better option to pay them off and keep Chester.
I look forward to your reply.

He he won’t then Carter himself has let his friendship get in the way of clear thought and is no longer up to the role and should resign.
For anyone that still cares thats 12 wins in 54. We have just capitulated against a patched up side that played in Monday and who played most of the game with one halfback and no goal kicker. It is embarrassing to be a Wakefield supporter these days.'"
If Carter won't sack him, then maybe John Minards needs to grow a pair, and get rid of them both. Yes, you can't fault his loyalty, but this could quite easily cost the club immensely, if they were to lose their super league status.
Changes are needed and NOW

I was sat in the directors box today and I must say John and the board all composed themselves very well, to sit there and watch the absolute tripe we put out for 60 minutes with no outbursts was applaudable.
