Read my post again I never said Grix was to blame. I said his error cost us and it did but I didn't blame him individually for the loss.

| Did anyone watch Grix after the final hooter? I did. The guy was beside himself, he is hurting just as much if not more than us fans are. Yes he was involved in the incident which ultimately decided the game. Yet, give the guy a break.

| I saw him after the game. He just sat there hugging his kids.
I'm please some people shouted to get his head up when he walked back in.
His wasn't the only mistake to cost us the game. He was just the last one.

Correct - funny how no one is slating Finny for missing the conversation at the end (not that they should be mind)
Grix is an easy target for some, despite him overall being superb most of the season.
It was a painful end to the game but every single Trinity player (including Grix) can walk round with their head held
high. The SL 'whipping boys' are still up there with the 'big boys' no matter what happens in the remaining games.

| Gutted for your guys last night.
You controlled the game for 78 minutes then blew it in the last 2.
Yes Grix was at fault without doubt but for me was your MoM until then.
Plenty of if`s and maybe`s but taking the 2 near the end was a mistake.
For me Finns miss on the conversion was the one that he would get 9 times out of ten that probably hit you more.
Like others have said win your last 2 and you make the 4.
If Wigan have nothing to play for by then you might only have to beat Hull which is a massive ask.
Well done on your season so far.

Exactly this
I cant believe some of the comments on here and to single one out from a team that gave their all is shameful. We should be grateful for the season and proud of everyone of them. Did anyone see Lynne last night the lad could hardly walk never mind run and he dug in and had a real go. One of the best seasons I have had (and its not over)and would thank everyone of them if I had the chance

| It s been a great season but we still after achieving so much seem to have a number of flat performances in our make up. No one seemed to stamp their authority on the game last night or stood up to call the shots,. Its simply not enough to play for each other but having said that if the grix incident happened mid way through the second half would we have crumble or got urselves back in the game.
Saints are not a good team they have individuals that can change a game but I saw nothing like the team spirit Wakey showed and that team spirit will be needed over the next 2 games.
We then need 100% concentration over the full 80 mins and a voice in the middle thrashing it up a little.

| But we are moving forward, compare this seasons performances in the Super 8's compared with last year. This time last year we'd thrown in the towel and we're getting hammered regularly. We've come on leaps and bounds and I for one am proud of the progress of this club.

| Ironic ray price has been discussed on this forum recently some on hear will remember how he used to stand facing the post's arms outstretched ready Incase the ball rebounded, well if some of the players had remembered this maybe the outcome would have been different.

| Just seen another brain fart from Australian international Blake Ferguson which cost his team the lead thankfully it didn't cost them the game but just goes to show that these things do happen.
Really felt for you last night and was hoping you would win but from very early on in the second half you could just visibly see the doubt creeping into your play, wether deliberate or not I could understand you taking the sting out of the game whilst ashurst was in the bin but to continue afterwards was almost suicidal. Surprised nobody has mentioned how you lost your way once Tyler Randell went off at that time he was the best player on the pitch and outplaying Roby,he's going to be a class signing for you guys.
Good luck in your final two games it's a tall ask but not impossible.

Didn`t he do that when defending the kick?
All the Wakefield players were facing the posts when the kick hit the post
Or am I missing the point?

Agree about Randell, made a noticeable difference when he was off, Hadley not quite the same influence

Not right there Oddshape, our players have to be behind the ball, you're thinking of when we're defending a pen kick.

Was that the one he attempted to stop going out only for the Broncos player to score . By the way it was Hadley in the bin.
