The use of that particular word suggests to me that you are more criticising Atkins the person rather than Atkins the player. I would also add that your use of that word just confirmed what the rest of your post had already told me. |

Atkins has a few poor games and holds onto a ball instead of passing and all of a sudden he's not a centre, never has been and never will be. What a load of e that is.
Ryan is probably a victim of his own success, he's a danger man and will probably be picked out by opposition as a danger man. In recent times he's busted a tackle and sent wingers away on numerous occasions, one on one I'd back him to bust a tackle and get free more times than not, but he's more and more of a marked man and is struggling to bust those tackles and get a ball away.
Yesterday he backed his strength at being able to bust the tackle one on one and had he done so he may well have passed further on up the field to put someone in when the cover came across and everything would have been great. He didn't bust that tackle though, similar to Paul Wellens against us when he made the same mistake.
It baffles me that everyone is quick to identify that good English centres are a rare breed and hard to find, yet we have one who is in the top 3 or 4 in the country and because his form has dipped we want to ship him out and get rid, he's still only young and has plenty of time to work on things and become a better all round player.'"
people are fickle and quick to criticise, often in the aftermath of a poor performance/result. there is some merit in the criticism of his ability to put his winger away and him not having the 'craft' of a natural centre but a lot of the rest is just reactionary nonsense imo |

how can you criticise a persons personality you haven't met?
My criticism is of his efforts or lack of them for trinity, which I am entitled to wether you like it or not. |

Indeed. His poor judgement in the passing department aside he didn't have that bad a game in comparison to some. |

I cannot see how that word could be used to describe/rate someones rugby playing ability or their effort on the pitch. |

Can't understand anyone criticising his effort the problem is in his passing/positioning certainly don't see him as lazy.
Mind you with him being young and English it was only a matter of time before we turned on him. |
