Dave's arrival is absolutely the spark that started the fire but there are more influences than that.
Gale clearly has an impact on and off the field. You can tell how much he's into it when you watch the latest winning song video compared to the first. He is very much a leader with enthusiasm.
We are running shapes and setting game strategies that are working now. That isn't Dave. He's just giving the enthusiasm to get behind it.'"
Wonder if they have the Ted Lasso "Believe" sign up above Mash's door?

For me, Jowitts return has played a massive part in our upturn in form, his final pass selection is class, I genuinely think he is one of the best FBs in the league for linking into the line and throwing that cut out ball, IMO with him in the side for those close games early on they would have been different.

| I agree. Jowitt is a key part of our attack.
And now he's getting better service he's really showing his class.

| In contact, running with the ball, Langi has definitely got essence of Tupou about him.
I dunno about Gale, bit of a flawed genius, he's knocking it out of the park atm and the team is with him and each other and bringing their own A game, but it always feels like his next drama is just around the corner.
Still, if he can just keep it rolling to the end of the season without upsetting the yin and yang, we might just pull it out the fire...

What about me and thee. The crowd behind the team, following the 'better' performances, certainly will help the cause.
Compare the current, with earlier in the season, in terms of noise etc

I agree.
We need Belle Vue to be a fortress and the crowd is a big part of that.

Jowitt is class with the long cut out pass, my only concern is defending teams are becoming aware and will risk leaving a gap by going for the interception, that Wigan winger last Saturday on tv noticed the long pass coming and made the interceptions, it can work for or against you.

Top six 2005 - Trinity.: |
|
| Not long after Ford has left we saw some improvements in attacking play. It was rumoured he was looking after attack. For whatever reason (probably a few) we have dramatically improved ball in hand.
For me it’s a combination of a few things but obviously the coach has to take some positive rap for the structures we are playing to.
Gale and Fifita have obviously lit some fires.
The coach has the structures in place that the players appear comfortable with.
There must be a lot of hard work going in from the players and the back room and it’s showing on the pitch. Long May it continue.
The players are certainly putting pride into the shirt and it’s heartening to see every player clearly busting a gut to make positive contributions.

Ford leaving didn't do anything, there was no sign of life. I expect that Gale was able to provide some guidance early on, but that sheer energy and belief only eventuated when DF turned up.........'"
Wasn't Gale out injured for a dashed good while after arriving - and then cup-tied against Leigh - a game DF played in?
Unless you're an FC fan, not everything is black and white.

I thought Max’s pass selection on Sunday… and in general… was excellent… however the space is created by clever and deceptive dummy runners… that the team hit Ashurst and Langi consistently and damagingly was just as important.
The shape that was created in attack was genuinely impressive… well done to all … hope it’s the sign of things to come!

Think most of Jowitts cut out pass go behind the player who he cuts out .Agree it is interception chance ,but more so called world class players have had passed interception. Think it is about time we stoped nit picking about players, about our team and got behind them after Sunday.. There are players in the team that I do not rate ,and think we need a more experienced coach but when I can see 17 players ,put pride back into the shirt like they did on Sunday think it is about time we give the Coach and team a chance and give them 100% support at the ground and on this forum .The next few games are going to make or break this season they need every body on board
