A few weeks ago Ray Warren referred to Aidan Guerra as "The Wild Bull of the Pampas" which irked me at the time because that's a nickname unique to Vince Karalius.

I wonder if that's the downside when young lads go to a big club? He's unquestionably a rare talent but at this stage in his career, he surely needs to be playing regular SL? When P&R returns and the ability to coast through the regular season is diminished, young players in similar situations will surely be behind their senior counterparts - in this case, Matt Bowen.
With regard to Tim Smith - I have a feeling that the sticking point is to do with his severance deal from Salford; he was at the beginning of a lengthy contract I believe, so if they want him off the books for cap/quota reasons, he'll be due some compensation. |

Personally, I can't see it, and think it's just journalistic page-filling. Thought you'd maybe be interested.
Although, in its favour, we are in the market for a backrower with Hock wanting to add to his Club collection. |

Possibly an idle journalist lifting it directly from here, a la Dave 'Nosey' Parker.
I hope it's not true - Smith is good for us, but he's not worth sacrificing Kirmo. |

Not played for us since May, went on loan to Fev but not getting a game there either. Why? Mainly because he's not very good.
