I would've thought that this is Kear's biggest weakness. With a full squad to chose from IMO he finds it hard to drop underperforming key players.

Howes can presumably back it up with written proof, otherwise it's compo time for ted to trouser again!!

Howes was his agent when he got the Wakefield job, and was actively touting around the media to take over from Tony Smith. It's what agents are paid to do, we can't criticise when we use them to our advantage as well.

It'll be interesting to see how this one pans out; our recent track record indicates that we are prone to getting shafted in situations like this - we seemed to capitulate with both Brough and Tronc in terms of releasing them very softly. Hopefully, we'll extract some Euro's from Les Cats by way of compensation if Kear does sign on the dotted line, thus enabling us to shop for a quality replacement.
