Gale would have a point to prove v FC and there doesn't seem any point in signing him not to play him. Mid you, I do think that Smith and Lino have improved.
Just for ruck speed, assuming that Gale starts, I'd go with Bowes and Smith as our hookers.
Hood for me, just isn't quick enough.

I must admit I did think of either putting Gale or Smith on the bench. Maybe starting with Smith and then last 30 or so having him play 9 with Gale coming on.

Wasn’t due to rain yesterday or this morning. Can’t trust weather forecasts to be right even hours before these days. Strangely it used to be more accurate many years ago.
