So OK, I'll humour you.
When we were in the million pound game we clearly didn't win a lot of games struggled so much we nearly lost our Super League place.
The back line was the same as we have now..... Except fullback and scrum half.
So Chester went out and bought two players. Grix and Finn.
Straight away we got in the 8, then 5th, 5th again and pretty much started scoring at will, hammering some top teams with record scores.
The link play from Grix was a major part of that.
Sky commentators talked about him in every game. He got more man of the matches than anyone else.
Of course if we are signing Tedesco it will improve us..... But as we aren't doing that, I'm OK with Grix. With MJ and Hooley learning their trade.

We're on a journey to building a genuine team - not a day trip.
Why don't you just sit back and let those who know what they are doing continue? I think we should appreciate we have the best management set up I've know at the club, and I go back to the 60's!

| First Tautai and now the full back thing again. Why don't you ask Daddy Cool to arrange for you to get down for preseason training next month? You can show the full backs and props how it's done. As you are clearly a person with an unenviable wealth of knowledge.
Alternatively put the lid back on the glue and give it a rest.

This looks like a sentence that would of come out of a WW2 enigma machine ... leaving the Bletchley park team all scratching their chins!

| Although neither Grix or Jowitt are perfect, they have by far more good games than bad.
If we can find better than, well fine, but is there?
If there is, they are likely to be in the NRL, we have no quota spots, and not only work within the cap, but to our own budget.
To me, and as Reynolds hasn't been confirmed as yet by the club, an extra half back is more important then full back.
If it comes to it, dependant on half situation, Hampshire played there a few times, and looked good there too.

You should not be encouraging him to bunk off school, by the sound of it he needs all the education he can get.

Good post that sums it up nicely! At one point last season we were all banging on about giving Max a chance, he had a run of good games, yeah some poor ones but I don’t recall that many.
What’s the score with Horo for next year, is he OOC?

| Yes I believe he is contracted for next year.
Having said that, I'm sure I heard an interview on the radio with Chris Chester, that they were looking into the possibility of freeing up a quota spot, which would mean coming to an agreement with terminating a contract early.
Not an easy decision to make, if true, as I think they all being something to the squad, but if I was to pick one, and taking everything into consideration, it would be Horo for me.
Who'd be a coach, or a chairman

Must admit I thought Horo was on a 1 year deal but BBC website says 2. With the recent pack additions I thought Horo was on his way.
