Where's this money going to come from to sign an extra FB when there's already 3 signed up?

On top of that, we've somehow as a club that is not cash rich or gets the gates of a top 4 club have managed to put a very competitive side together the last couple of years- with really top players like Fifita, Tupou, Ashurst, Tom, BJB, Lyne, Miller, Arona & England etc. We've also got good quality academy players coming through that are getting signed up on long contracts.
Again with all that in mind, should we waste any spare money on a FB?

When we were in the million pound game we clearly didn't win a lot of games struggled so much we nearly lost our Super League place.

The back line was the same as we have now..... Except fullback and scrum half.
So Chester went out and bought two players. Grix and Finn.
Straight away we got in the 8, then 5th, 5th again and pretty much started scoring at will, hammering some top teams with record scores.

The link play from Grix was a major part of that.
Sky commentators talked about him in every game. He got more man of the matches than anyone else.

Of course if we are signing Tedesco it will improve us..... But as we aren't doing that, I'm OK with Grix. With MJ and Hooley learning their trade.

Good post that sums it up nicely! At one point last season we were all banging on about giving Max a chance, he had a run of good games, yeah some poor ones but I don’t recall that many.
