I guess you can fill us in with in with why you consider him to be a waste of money because I cannot due to the fact I have never seen him play so I presume you have. I will be interested in how you see his game, what his weaknesses are.
I would think he was signed assuming we would not be able to sign players like Godinet and Sammut. The good thing was that despite this the club stuck with him when they could easily of used the RFL refusal to register him as an excuse to drop their interest. They must believe he is not a waste of money and they probably know more about him than any of us with the possible exception of your good self.

| Can't we just wait till he plays and either flops abysmally or turns out to be a gem before we slag him off/praise him?

That's my strategy - some folk just can't help themselves.

Difficult for overseas players if they're not immediate first choice now though.
With no A-team and they can't go out on loan/dual reg, where do they get/stay match fit?
Maybe he can with his Polish passport?

How foolish would we look if we announce his signing and something happens between now and Thursday Get him on UK soil then tell the world.

Near enough every overseas signing is announced signed "Subject to been successful with Visa clearance" - Most work out, Some dont. The one`s that dont i wouldn`t say make any club look foolish at all.

There'll certainly be competition for places. If jones-bishop signs, id imagine he'll be pushing for a wing or centre spot. You have to say that only collis is your automatic pick in the 3/4s which leaves lynn, fox, sykes and jones-bishop to fight for the remaining 3 spots.
As for Siejka, Mathers is our choice at full back and unless he gets injured I dont see Agar dropping him on performance, so Id imagine that Siejka, Sammut and Godinet will scrap for the half back roles and the one who misses out will have to either interchange at 9 with Mcshane or work a little harder in training....thats what having competition for places is all about.
Of course, in the inevitable situation that we pick up some injuries, in Jones-bishop and Siejka we have cover across the 3/4 line with JB and cover at FB in Siejka...its then up to the injured lads to win their spot back.
