| Its a shame but sadly no surprise. Not great timing ahead of the world cup semi finals at wembley though.

| I would've expected the RFL to come to their rescue for at least one season to save an embarrassing gap in the fixture list, but it seems a bit late for that now with nowhere to play and only 6 players on the books.
It's a great shame - with the right people in charge, it could have been a roaring success.
If they do implode, I hope for their own sake that Fev or Fax aren't catapulted into SL.

| IF they go into admin and get demoted (or worse), what happens to the SL fixtures for next season
With the Magic Weekend, SL needs an even number of teams in the league for the fixture programme to work.
The admin situation isn't really a surprise, given that the London club just isn't sustainable with the apathy of the support base down south but, the grassroots game has grown exceptionally well over the past few years and hopefully they can find a solution.
The lack of a settled home venue certainly hasn't helped them and even though the Stoop is a "nicer" ground than Brentford, the locals are just not interested.

A bye round should be introduced. Most teams will get two, Catalans will get three.

It was never going to work playing in the shadow of Twickenham. Even the Harlequins re-brand to appeal to the union lot was a disaster.
I'm interested to see what the RFL will do to resurrect their London fantasy. As nice as it would be to have a thriving London team in Super League, the brutal truth is it's not working and as long as Union has a strangle hold down there it never will.

| You couldnt give Catalan 3 bye games as they would be a game down or just be given an auto 2 points?
Realistically Fev have 17 full timers on the books and could easily be thrown into SL last minute

| It would have to be offered to Sheffield first as they won the grand final, then Batley as they were in the final, then Fev who were league leaders

| I'd love to know how an administrator can sell a club like London with a straight face.
Most clubs in SL are propped up to some extent or another, but London!!
Is love to here their sales pitch!!

| Sheffield, Batley or Fev being in would a least boost a few attendances, local derbys, bragging rights etc. The London experiment has never worked. Its a dead rubber financially as attendences are low and travelling support both ways is minimal. The rest of the game as been subsidising this experiment for too long. I still think London will be bailed out in some form or another, but looking at the bigger picture Rugby League would be better building solid foudations in its heartlands. A strong team in Cumbria is far more attractive in the SL and it has a long history within the game.

Each team to be awarded the 2 points on their bye week. Its not as if the Magic weekend is fair as it stands and with the team London could've cobbled together it would've been highly likely that a Dragons victory would be on the cards anyway.

| Im not convinced that the RFL will let the London club be demoted, admin or not.
I can see an admin, then a buy out by maybe the guy from Barnet, then business as usual, playing out of the Barnet sports village.

Not sure how that could be the case after we were told that administration would result in automatic relegation and starting again in championship 1.

Like I said it will be interesting to see what transpires. Much confusion on the Broncos forum as they've always been told there is no debt beyond the owner. If this is the case why go into administration? Perhaps its a high risk strategy to force the RFL's hand on the dispensation's the Broncos want.

| I hope our chairman is keeping tabs on London's situation and if they are given yet more dispensation, will be making waves at red hall.
