Hull, rest of the family going for Wigan

Don't particularly care. I just want to see a close, competitive game thats decided in the last few minutes.

Want Hull to win and think they will........then at least we got knocked out by the eventual winners!

Also, as someone who likes a bet I think the market is a bit out.....

Wigan at 1/3 and Hull at 5/2 in the 80 minute betting is bonkers in my eyes.....Wigan have had far much the easier draw and their record this season against the bigger teams doesn't bode well.....

Hull on the other hand have shown they can raise it with beating Warrington in the Semi-Final....they look a strong bet for me at 5/2 in what I see as a real 50/50 game....

Also had a few quid on Danny Houghton for M.O.M at 14's......if i'm hoping for a Hull win Holdsworth would be the obvious choice but Houghton is class and could be a key player if Hull are to win....

Strange one this, on League form you'd have to go for Wigan but this is a one off.

On the wide pitch of Wembley it's likely to be the team who exploits the open spaces better that will win. While Wigan are renowned for getting the ball wide their centres, Gelling and Thorniey, aren't the best. On the other hand Crooks has been on fire, he'll miss Lynham though, and Yeaman/Briscoe are both seasoned players.

Halfs are pretty much like for like in terms of ability while the packs both have their merits and will fight out an even battle IMO.
Houghton will be vital for Hull and I think the speed of the game will suit him better than McIlorum and that might be the single biggest deciding factor in the game.

Shaul has the ability to be a star in this match but if Tomkins is 100% then he's obviously the most likely to turn in a match winning performance.

I'm going for Hull to end their Wembley hoodoo though my heart wants Wigan

Think the weather could be a great leveller today. I'll still go Wigan, but only just. It really could go either way though.

I want Hull but I think Charnley will be the difference. Be interesting to see if any of the big name Wigan players will choke on the big occasion, could be a pointer towards their suitability for the WC. Not that a bad display will count for anything re selection.

As has previously been mentioned, which team/club do I 'hate' least? I'll have to think a little more about that one

Anyone see the Wakefield shirt in the Wigan end during abide with me? It looked like a bukta 'wally Lewis' shirt but brand new!

Probably been saving it for when we get there, but finally the penny has dropped.

It's been a pretty dull final thus far. Hull are awful. I bet Wire are kicking themselves they didn't overcome such an average side. Their defence had been good though. I guess its had to be.

Noticeably a lot of empty seets around the stadium for too such well supported teams.
A reflection on the economic climate, the sport in general or the relevance of this competition?

Probably all three. The Ring of Indifference doesn't help, but plenty of empty seats outside of that, they aren't missing much.

A lot of dropped balls and silly mistakes costing Hull dearly.
Perhaps it actually is all Agars fault after all??
