I would say there were at least 500 of us.

It only looked like a couple of hundred in the away stand but I personally didn't stand and count them so could have easily been more...but as previously said most stayed till the end and supported their team which counts for far more than numbers anyway.

There were a lot of forward passes today from both sides but as Hicks was letting them go there was no reason for either team to stop doing it!! The game was very flat especially in the first half, was happy to get the points, I wasn't convinced it was entirely wise for us to rest quite so many players today because as you say your lads are putting the effort in.

There were several hundred of us and we gave the lads really good support - I particularly like the way we hijacked their mascots drumming to accompany the 'Wakefield!' chant.

On a personal note, I was thrilled to hear someone sitting next me shout "Get in Le Barbu!" Let that be my legacy.

On a less happy note, I missed BJ's try altogether, when an inter-fan fracas broke out right next to me; a middle aged chap took offence to something that was said behind him and offered out an entire row of people - game, but ill-advised. A man in a nice purple shirt with a James May style hairdo was able to placate everyone however, and harmony was restored.

but thats part and parcel of being a fan on an internet message board and a rugby league fan,you have to take the banter as well as give it sometimes.
as for hating us,i dont think that is the reason i think its more personal with some people,the bitterness and bad blood goes way way back before we started spanking you, certain people know what caused it and who were to blame,but you cant change some things.
anyway back to my original post, what i was trying to get across is that most people would see the score and think huddersfield have hammered wakefield again which is was nothing like,the effort the wakey players put in was a credit to them and your club ( sorry if thats being patronising)
