I'm baffled by the suggestion that signing another prop holds Gledhill back - props need to be spelled and rested, particularly young and fragile ones like Gledhill; Higgins is a big, tough lump who can add grunt and experience to our pack and in my view, he'll be a good signing.

Higgins will do a decent job for us. He's a big lad that will get us off our line, something we've been crying out for. Might take him a few weeks to get back up to the of superleague but he's a useful addition.

The Kear out crowd are in the minority now in my opinion.
I still think he is our most valuable employee.

As for Higgins. My cas mates always rated him but as a hard working prop, nothing more. They wanted something more than that so got rid. We want exactly that so he is to our benefit. Seems easy to me.
If he doesn't perform when he gets here then he will be overtaken by the kids.
I think he'll work out like King has. Not wanted elsewhere as he has no long term future but for us he is invaluable.

JKs record of selection blunders grows with every passing game.
Im afraid his continued baffling bench selections have hindered on field performances - leaving us light on forward replacements.
It points to him being a dinosaur with little knowledge of modern coaching techniques.
The youth will not develop to their potential with him in charge.
Looking forward to end of this season,then his contract is up and we can wave bye bye.
It will be interesting to see how many job offers he gets.

John Kear will come good, he as got to try things out, and leave Higgins alone fff's, give the lad time to do his talking on the field...

If i was Kear i'd use Higgins as an impact prop off the bench...

Just what we need IMO and will get his chance like any other to show us what he can do. Two solid 20 min stints is what we need with some hard drives

Higgins did well for us at Cas and he'll surely do well for Wakey too.
