In terms of fitness the last aussie conditioner we had was an utter disaster...some fat kid who used to waddle onto the pitch...re English v Aussie...if your comparing superleague to the NRL well then yes i would agree most of the aussie clubs invest huge funds - into this area of their game, i suspect most of the super league clubs cannot afford it although wigan maybe an exception..

For me it is simple, a year ago we beat Leeds at home in the league...look at the team sheet then and look at the team that played Cas...it's not fitness thats costing us games it's lack of good players...also you cannot expect kids to be fully developed strength wise???

I personally think when he was appointed Colin introduced the science side of conditioning that many clubs neglected. When he first joined Trinity most conditioning coaches were either explayers or personal trainers.

Since his appointment though most clubs have recruited well on this area moving with the times and Colins lack of knowledge of the game and failings in the art of coaching have cost Trinity.

A bit more 'professionalism' with regard to the pop would benefit many players. It's ok if you have the skill and ability to drink and play well, but many of these don't have the first two to a high enough level to justify it.
