But who is liable for the bond payable for an appeal? If it's the club then maybe it's a small attempt to stick 2 fingers up to the RFL as we haven't got the money to pay if the appeal fails!!!

No surprise that Smurph, a player with an exemplary disciplinary record, has received a disproportionate punishment for a clumsy tackle; if he'd agreed to move to Shudds or HKR however, who's betting he'd have got off with a warning.

Anyone thinking that the RFL are doing their best to make sure we can't compete this weekend? One of the few games we could rely on to net off some of the (no doubt maximum) points they'll deduct from us, and it wouldn't do for their expansionist projects to finish below us now, would it?
