When I was 7 years old my sister, 8, was hit by a car, she died. My parents didn't stop me playing out, ever, Crap happens, we deal with it, just as my parents did. Does that mean they didn't give a toss?

The will have the virus with no symptoms at all....asymptomatic carriage and we know that happens.
Of those who get the symptoms, the great majority, probably 80% will have a mild or moderate disease. Might be bad enough for them to have to go to bed for a few days, not bad enough for them to to have to go to a doctor.
An unfortunate minority will have to go to hospital and the a minority of those will up having to go to severe and critical care and some of those will sadly die.
But that's a minority...it's 1% or possibly even less than 1% and even in the highest risk groups this is significantly less than 20% i.e. even the great majority of people even the very highest groups if they catch this virus will not die."

In the spate of 9 months there is close to million people in the world lost their lives and that is while counties have tried to control it we would never now how bad it would of been as said by boris had we just let it rip.
We are never going to agree as its clear we have totally different opinions and I doubt either one of us would change them so like I've said before stay safe and do what you want to do the world will catch up at some time |

Sorry Snowie, but that remark was over the top, and shows just how obsessed with C-19 some people have become about death rates, and I may be giving away my identity with the following.1978, my first wife eight months pregnant with our second son, on her way to anti natal clinic, knocked down on a crossing, by a 17 year in a bakery van, both died the following day. As I’ve said before, thousands die every day including loved ones, but we all have to live a normal life outside this Covid bubble,, otherwise whats the point of living. |
