I would suggest if we can afford to throw away money on Owen and gilmour then the answer is yes we can.

| You after realise we are in the entertainment industry and all we are serving up is a very negative experience nobody is going to keep coming to experience that unless you've pre paid for the season. The fans blame Agar, especially the ones staying away. I know you can't have fans dictating that the coach should be sacked but its beyond that, many have just given up because of his presence. The fans voting with their feet is always going to be a factor in the coaches tenability. Except in his case of course. Agar should of been sacked long ago. I fear the damage has been done now, the paying fans are lost and were past the point of no return. Gut wrenching considering all the hard work put in by everyone at the club in times of great adversity. All Thanks to our smooth talking coach that seems to have a long list of friends in the game.

Unfortunately someone who doesn't go to the games has very little credibility in my eyes anyway, when making comments about team performance.
I do agree that Agar seems incapable of changing our fortunes and we should be looking to change, but the way you go about getting that point across is indeed "bile"

I suppose thats gives you a sense of superiority does it? It's them paying fans (especially this year) who's opinions matter the most...business wise at least.

No, it gives me a sense of being more qualified to comment on on-field matters seeing as, y'know I actually saw what was happening on the pitch.
As for the second point, we all know the club is short of money by staying away you are just damaging the club you claim to support and these are the people who start whinging that we don't have any good players/coaches/whatever.

Seems to be the case.
I personally have a season ticket and live quite a distance, but have been pondering the decision for weeks not to waste petrol money on watching the utter gash been served up by the Agar coached team.
No doubt some will critisize and claim im not a true supporter, but 35 years a season ticket holder watching them lurch in the main from one disaster to another. But i will not waste another penny whilst Agar remains in charge.
I havent been as often this year due to junior rugby and always thought i couldnt do without my Wakey fix,but Agar has cured me of that feeling. The longer i stay away the less likely i will be to return.

| The anser to the threads question has to now be a resounding yes. Agar out now before it is too late.
The only reason i will be there is becuse of my season ticket but not one more penny will be spent on this club whilst this joker in the coach of the club. So Carter it's time to man up and pull rank on Hetherington and sack him. It's your house on the line pal.

| For me it's a straightforward decision for Mr Carter to make, I mean what would the cost of getting rid of our current head coach be against the lost revenue and fans when we descend into the abyss that is the Championship. Simple!

Any tom dick or harry can see whats going on, present at the game or not. You only have to compound the result with previous one and the see the clear picture. Is there something special in that performance that may of swayed my opinion? Please enlighten me.
On your second point, I don't think anyone was wining about the quality of our signings at all. This year I've been impressed personally (at least when we first signed them).
Of course fans are going is going to make things worse. [sizeBut that's whats happening[/size no matter how much you get on your high horse. You just don't get it, Agar presence is the thing thats causing this. Theres always us hard core fans but the pay on day fans are as good as gone due to that clown in the hot seat, I really can't see how we can get them back with this level of performance been dished out nearly every week.

| Don't people have success criteria in their contracts against which they're assessed as to whether or not they're doing their job properly?

| Got told last month that Agar had lost the dressing room but with the results at hull and widnes I choose to dismiss that rumour but the last 3 weeks performance suggest he has lost the dressing room big style .

I think you may have misunderstood what I meant by "people who don't go to games" I meant the several people on here who are boycotting the home games and then coming on whinging about performances. I understand that home and away is a big commitment and wouldn't criticise people for having an opinion if they are seeing at least half the games.
But as a matter of fact, in that second half we were comfortably the better side, playing the better rugby and but for a couple of knock ons and a (allegedly dubious) call to disallow Mathers try, we might have sneaked it. I'm in no way suggesting that it was a good performance, but reading some of the reaction on here you'd have thought it was the worst display a Wakey side has ever put on.
Finally, I'm not overly concerned if the floating fans come and go - that is the nature of them. But when you've got the long term, hardcore supporters throwing their teddy out of the pram over a poor season then I just think they should know better and not jump on the enormous bandwagon of negativity that this board has become recently.

| If Agar's contract was due to expire at the end of the season, a lot of fans could just about stomach it til then, with the prospect of brighter times ahead.
But it's the fact he has another two years that is really getting up people's noses.
