they certainly are right.
Featherstone Halifax and Sheffield would certainly not be out of place in an 8 team league with Cas, Wakey, London, Widnes and last year's Salford.
There's no massive gap at all.
people whine about your stadium and it's outrageously moronic.
SL clubs receive massively more funding than Fev, yet cas and wakefield have let their grounds go to a state of disrepair.

17 full time players my big ginger botty! Nowhere near that amount. Tho I will concede Fev perhaps have the bigger squad - for the mo at least!!
Anyway, want to buy a scoreboard???

It may not look it but a fair bit has been spent on BV with the new roofs and the hospitality boxes. How they were 'paid' for is open to debate.
I guess it's harder when your costs are so much higher too. Any SL club who diverts their central funding into the stadium rather than their squad are asking for trouble.

| You never fail to amaze me vasty, a training game ,agar wouldn't be bothered if we won or lost, gained a treasure load of info, what a joke ,reality would have wanted to win desperately, won't use much of the info he's gained he'll still pick mathers, don't you think the reason why he made so many changes at prop was that tha fev pack was giving us the runaround,a couple of plusses for me among our pack were Dan smith and an akin I liked the way smith handled and offloaded . Another point vasty if you want to test your players you don't have them playing teams like chorley,I agree that wouldn't have done hull kr much good but you can't compare that with our game against fev which was a true test,oh no we wanted to win and your attempt to make little of it won't wash with me

| Didn't go yesterday but sounds a very mixed reaction depending on what people were looking for.
I have been banging on about Goulding for the last couple of weeks and I think it has been mentioned, that yesterday's game was one that he should have poked his head up and shown what he can do.
Nobody has mentioned him so I take it he didn't go that well, maybe playing himself out of a contract?

| Yea I thought it was a chance for young goulding to shine but I'm afraid he didn't do his cause much good in open play he was inconspicuous and his few kicks were tame efforts ,I'm afraid sadly we won't have the youngster much longer

| Positives from yesterday:
Annakin - Ran hard and put a few players on their backside. Good leg drive and good upper body strength.
D Smith - Showed up well, made good yards.
Fox - Not a favorite of mine, but was solid and looked busy.
Collis - A few moments of class and made a few breaks.
A few players I found hard to judge:
Kirmond - Definitely not one of his 'shining days' but he did put the effort in. Could have been penalised a fair few times.
Goulding - I can remember him coming on, but the game was pretty much buried, did throw a nice pass to Fox near the end.
Sykes - Shocking at SO but two try savers at FB.
But like people have said only a friendly. Hopefully the gentleman from overseas arrive soon. More competition, more at stake and hopefully better performances =).

Mopsey - do you really think I care if it washes with you?
It's all theories nothing more - why you feel yours is more valid than the rest of us I do t know. I can only assume with your level of knowledge you must have turned the England job down numerous times, presumedly because you were so busy advising Wayne Bennett - is this so?

Featherstone obviously want to cash in on this 'giant killer' win.
do you blame them, I had it around 8-9 seconds from the ko, it should rake at least £30 profit on the bar

Fair play to them! We should do the same.

| They will be showing a re-run of the previous fixture again on Monday evenings.
Something the club have done in the past and will continue to do in the future.
