what about the fans who have stood in that area for 30 years ? that is the problem all Wakey fans have their favourite spot. Its the idiots we need to get rid of . A zero tolerance of any abusive language, drunkeness and taunting of other fans needs to be applied. We should be allowed to stand side by side with opposing fans as we have done for over 130 years.

I agree or controversially West for bigger followings , the Wheldon road end has become a recognised home stand by intimidation, let's not go there with the North.

Well all I can say is you need to get to spec-savers mate because I was stood with a police sargent who is a cas fan, and a cas fan with his cas shirt on who claimed he was a doorman and a member of the RFL and they witness it too so (Cas fans throwing and charging Wakefield fans) what do you say now youngcat that the Cas Fan the Police and me are telling a fib Both sets of fans had idiots that day and both should get a ban...

Saw this coming a mile off, the only thing you can blame is mindless drunken EDIT that have been drinking all day and can't hold their ale. Segregation or not, crappy slogan or not....there was always going to be a big chance of this happening in a heated derby match on a bank holiday!

Will 300 drunken Salford fans behind the sticks behave next home match? Like I said before, under the roof atmosphere rises tenfold, so does adrenaline. I've witnessed a minor skirmish behind the sticks when we've played Salford in the past when both sets of fans were goading each other for a while.

I'm standing North every home game from now on....

Many mistakes made re last nights game:

1 - KO Time: Far too late, many fans hammered even before kick off. An earlier midday kick off would have helped reduce this problem.

2 - North Stand Segregation Debacle: An idiot could see this was a recipe for disaster combined with the late KO time. Shocking decision!

3 - Lack Of Police/Stewards: No idea who does the security planning and resource allocation but they want shooting. Someone could have got very seriously hurt due to this last night.

Think Khav was right, in that there was a unique set of circumstances that led to last night. Had the first game been against Salford or Huddersfield, there would have been no need to issue the demand for segregation, and everyone would have gathered where they wanted under the stand. Once the club issued the request for segregation, they should have stuck to it properly, and said no away fans in the North Stand. I agree with Cas fans that this should not be how it is, but the concession mid-week, prompted by RW's rant, was partially to blame, because the stand was split 60-40 in Cas's favour (because the home fans had the half where the top of the terrace reduces). Segregation should have been all or nothing. The decision to insist it on it was the wrong one, and then the decision to cave in to that oaf was another wrong one.

The problem is that I thought one of the whole points of the roof was to provide a more pleasant atmosphere for the away fans to encourage away fans, as well as placate the RFL. Why all the effort to create a "kop" in a ground that we are aiming to be out of by the end of next year?

I'm sure those at the top will look back and say that they got it wrong but acted with the best of intentions. I would agree with that, but still wrong.

The sad truth is it won't exist for much longer if the team continues to perform like it has for the last two games as fans will soon stop coming....

Were in serious danger of undoing so much good work off the field with poor on the field performances....

There was many fans posting on here, facebook and Twitter saying 'make the north stand wakey only' so you cant blame Glover for giving the fans what they wanted....he was just trying to increase the home atmosphere at Belle Vue and rightly so! It's alright saying in hindsight 'this was bound to happen with segregation', but this doesn't happen at other grounds that separate the two sets of supporters. Dont blame the club, blame the idiots who can't hold their ale!!
